PRELIMINARY 2013-2014 ELEMENTARY STUDENT TRANSFER OPTIONS
Due to the elementary rezoning efforts, all elementary transfers were temporarily suspended. The linked document represents the 2013-2014 preliminary elementary transfer options. No other transfers are permitted at this time. Additional 2013-2014 elementary transfer options may be offered after the start of the school year when enrollments stabilize.
2013-2014 Preliminary Elementary Student Transfer Options
To request a transfer, submit an Out-of-Zone Transfer Form for capacity transfer options or a Diversity Incentive Transfer Form for a diversity transfer to the Choices Department in the Educational Support Center at 400 E. Lake Mary Blvd., Sanford or by fax 407-320-0105.
2013-2014 Student Transfers - Important Dates
Transfer requests for elementary, middle, and high school must be received prior to August 1, 2013 for processing prior to the start of the school year. All transfers received after August 1 are placed on hold pending class size availability.
Important 2013-2014 Seminole High School Information
Due to state law on class size, Seminole High School is closed to new student enrollment for 2013-2014. Only students zoned to Seminole County High School who are currently in 8th grade will be enrolled for 9th grade next year. Any new students to the Seminole High School zone may choose to attend Lyman, Oviedo, or Winter Springs high schools. Transportation is provided.
Students who were assigned to an alternate site during the 2012-2013 school year will remain at the current school. They are not permitted to enroll at Seminole High School.
Northwest Region 1, Northwest Region 2, and Northeast Cluster Schools
If you reside in one of these zones and have not applied for school assignment, you need to do so as soon as possible. Submit your request form to the Choices Department. Your school assignment letter will be mailed to your home address. Take the letter with your registration requirement documents to the school to register by the required date.

Seminole County Public Schools Summer Schedule
Seminole County Public Schools has implemented a four-day work week beginning June 3 through August 1 as a cost savings measure. The Choices Department is open Monday - Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. All Seminole County Public Schools offices and schools will follow the same four-day work week.
